Why we built Karro

The job market doesn’t reward effort as a default. It rewards positioning — being the right kind of professional, with the right kind of track record, applying for the right kind of roles at the right time. Most career advice is too generic to act on, and most CV tools check formatting and stop there.

We wanted something that starts from a harder question: what does your career actually say about you, and is that the story you want it to tell? Answering that well takes more than a keyword scan. It takes reading a whole career the way an experienced recruiter would — the shape of the trajectory, the gaps, the signals — and then being specific about what to change.

What Karro does

When you upload your CV, Karro runs a full analysis in about 30 seconds and gives you:

  • Market-value scores— depth, breadth, and reach, benchmarked against sector peers.
  • Role matches— specific roles ranked by fit, with salary bands and demand signals.
  • An ATS check— how Taleo, Greenhouse, Workday, and iCIMS actually parse your CV, and where they lose information.
  • A language audit— every weak or vague phrase, found and rewritten line by line.
  • LinkedIn optimisation— your profile rebuilt for recruiter search and the recruiter’s point of view.
  • A roadmap— concrete next steps toward the direction you want your career to take.

Alongside that: a cover letter writer, interview preparation matched to the role, a live job search, and an application tracker.

How the analysis works

Karro uses Claude, Anthropic’s AI model, to read your CV from several angles at once rather than pattern-matching keywords. The scoring is calibrated against thousands of real CVs so that a score means the same thing across sectors and seniorities.

Your CV and results are yours. We don’t sell your data, and the anonymous CV scan on our landing pages stores nothing beyond a timestamp for rate limiting. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
