These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Karro platform operated by Karro Intelligence Ltd ("Karro", "we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use Karro.
Karro provides a career intelligence platform that analyses CVs and provides career guidance, role matching, and related tools. The service is provided "as is" and we may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Karro. By signing up you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account or use another person's account. Notify us immediately at hello@karro.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
You retain ownership of the CV and other content you upload to Karro. By uploading content you grant us a limited licence to process and analyse it solely to deliver the services described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your CV or personal data.
You agree not to use Karro to upload content that is false or misleading, to attempt to access other users' data, to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform, or to use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Paid features are billed via Stripe. All fees are shown inclusive of VAT where applicable. Pro Monthly (£14.99/month): Billed monthly on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time via your billing portal; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months. Career Boost (£29.99 one-time): Grants access for 90 days from the date of purchase. Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations you have a 14-day right to cancel, but by accessing the service immediately after purchase you expressly consent to waive this right and acknowledge that the service has been provided. No refund is available once access has been used. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will not be affected until their next renewal after the notice period. All billing queries should be directed to hello@karro.io.
Karro offers two separate opt-in visibility tiers for candidates, both off by default: Tier 1 — Anonymous profile: Your Karro scores, career archetype, sector, skills, and approximate location are made searchable to subscribed recruitment agencies. Your name, contact details, and CV text are not included. Tier 2 — Full contact visibility: By separately enabling this on a specific CV, you consent to your name, email address, and the full text of that CV also being visible to subscribed recruiters. This consent is recorded with a timestamp. You may withdraw either consent at any time from your CV Visibility settings, with immediate effect on what recruiters can see on the platform. You acknowledge that Karro cannot compel deletion of information a recruiter may have already noted externally. Recruiters accessing candidate data on Karro must agree to the Recruiter Terms of Use, which require them to: use candidate data solely for legitimate recruitment purposes; not share candidate data with third parties; not contact candidates for non-recruitment purposes; and delete candidate data on request. Karro reserves the right to suspend recruiter accounts for breaches of these obligations.
All Karro branding, software, and AI-generated output (other than your own content) is owned by Karro Intelligence Ltd. You may use AI-generated career guidance for your personal career development only — not for redistribution or commercial use.
The Karro platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In particular: • Career analysis outputs — including archetypes, scores, role recommendations, and roadmaps — are generated by AI and are informational only. They are not a substitute for professional career advice, and we make no guarantee as to their accuracy, completeness, or suitability for your circumstances. • We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. • We do not warrant that job listings or employer information displayed via third-party integrations are accurate or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law: • Karro's total aggregate liability to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, is limited to the fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. • Karro is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
Either party may terminate at any time. On termination your data will be retained for 30 days then deleted unless we are required by law to retain it longer. You may request early deletion by contacting hello@karro.io.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and display a notice in the platform. Continued use after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance.
